The frequency of my family asking “What did we eat the other day for _______?” led me to photographing our food. What began as an occasional means of addressing short-term memory challenges and the food intolerance(s) within the home transcended into a personal obsession. As sheltering in place became a reality, documenting the culinary creations evolved into a visual diary entry of my experiences during the pandemic. This installation represents all 2772 meals between March 11, 2020 and September 13, 2022 while featuring the 2109 meals that I cooked for my household.
